Yesterday in the centre of Moscow around three hundred people gathered who had come to honour the memory of the murdered Anna Politkovskaya.On 30 August she would have turned 49.“They say that no one is irreplaceable. That’s not true. Where can we find anyone like Anna? There are none like her. But we need others like her, so that our hearts could be nourished with courage from them…” said the Ingush writer Isa Kodzoyev at the meeting in memory of Anna Politkovskaya. “They have killed the best among us, they have killed one who defended us, loved us, tried to do something to help us…”
