To the Public Prosecutor of Ingushetiya
Mr Yury Turygin, You call yourself public prosecutor and you are obliged to observe the law. Have you seen the corpse of Apti Dolakov, killed in Karabulak? He was dressed in a tee shirt and tight jeans. Where did he carry his grenade? You know perfectly well the fact that that it was planted on him. Explain to us, ordinary citizens: how could you, a lawyer, call the killed youngster a “militant”, without even conducting an inquiry? What kind of word is “eliminated” for a public prosecutor to use? We, the residents of Karabulak, knew the killed youth perfectly well. His entire guilt lay in the fact that he was religious, and didn’t indulge in drink. He never meddled in bad affairs. You, a public prosecutor, came to the defence of the killers, trumpeted through all the media that they acted correctly. They say you even brought a case against the innocent youth killed, for “offering resistance”. The other youngster who was detained you called a “suspect” in all the recent crimes with no grounds at all. And you told the newspapers and information agencies about this too. Lawyers and public prosecutors have no right to behave in such a manner.Mr Public Prosecutor, you are an accessory to the murder of Apti Dolakov and of other representatives of the Ingush youth! If you cannot act according to the law, then leave Ingushetiya. We don’t need public prosecutors of this sort! With deep disrespect towards you,The residents of the town of Karabulak.
